The stupendous success of Paiyya has naturally buoyed the spirits of talented actor Karthi, who is all geared up for his next release Naan Mahaan Alla, directed by Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu fame Suseendran and produced by Gnanavel Raja. A press meet was conducted at the Residency Towers, T Nagar, Chennai wherein the crew talked about the film.
When Karthi spoke, he said that NMA is about a Chennai middle class boy who roams around in his shorts, his love and the events associated with this. According to him, every middle class person, especially in the city, would have to face some kind of crime in his life and NMA deals with such a crime and how the hero meets, faces and gets out of such a misadventure. The Paiyya actor further added that people who have seen the rushes of the film are highly impressed with the end product and have opined that his character is well etched out and would be spoken just like the character of Karthik in Mouna Ragam.
When director Suseendran spoke, he said, “Producer Gnanavel Raja showed me the Chennai that I wanted to showcase in my film. I have portrayed the life of a middle class father who rides on a bicycle giving his son a motorbike”.
Gnanavel Raja, the producer was also present at the meet. Naan Mahaan Alla would be a July release and features Kajal Agarwal as Karthi’s heroine.
