The young prince of Kannada cinema Prajwal Devaraj and Reema Verma teamed for the film ‘Murali Meets Meera’ is another M letter fascination film. There are many films in Kannada starting from the letter ‘M’ and ‘Murali Meets Meera’ is another addition to the list. Mungaru Male, Mathe Mungaru, Moggina Manasu, Manasugala Mathu Madhura, Meghave Meghave, Manase o Manase, Manase, Mungarina Minchu, Manasina Mathu, Megha Banthu Megha etc. The films of TN Seetharam – Mathadhana, Meera Madhava Raghava have all started with letter M. Even the television serials of TN Seetharam were in the letter M – Maaya Mruga, Muktha Muktha etc.
Now this one by producer Yogish Hunsur who is also director ‘Murali Meets Meera’ roped in story writer of the film Mahesh Rao to direct the film.
The film MMM went on the floors on Thursday morning at Kanteerava studios. This is a film to experience and incidents based films. Most of the incidents are picked from the real life says director Mahesh Rao. Mahesh Rao was Magesh Kumar when he directed ‘Dheemaku’ in 2008. With new name and new outlook to love he has prepared a tight screenplay that is interesting with comedy, action and songs.
For Prajwal Devaraj the look out of some difference from earlier films is definitely there. This role demands lot of active participation in every scene and it is tough role. This is a beautiful love story and not moves away from reality he says.
Producer Yogish Hunsur who jointly made ‘Ravana’ and worked as executive producer of ‘Krishnan Love Story’ also a director in Kannada filmdom has liked the subject narrated by Mahesh Rao. He is producing this film with the help of his friends. There are lot of elements that relate to the social life says Yogish Hunsur.
Jai Anand the long time assistant of prominent cameraman HC Venu is independently wielding the camera. The shoot for this film will be held in Bangalore and New Zealand.
