Popular Bollywood actress Mugdha Godse will be the heroine in actor-director-producer Prakashraj’s second directorial venture Dhoni, being made in Tamil and Telugu.
According to sources, Mudha Godse was recently approached by Prakashraj’s wife-choreographer Pony Varma, a close buddy of the 25-year-old actress. Dhoni is based on a child’s aspiration to become like famous cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
The Telugu version is produced by R. Venkat under the banner of RR Movie Makers; the Tamil version is produced by Prakashraj’s Duet Movies. The film has music by Ilaiyaraaja. The shooting is expected to commence soon.
