One of the finest actors in the country Naseeruddin Shah will play Rajinikanth in the forthcoming Bollywood film Dirty Picture, directed by Milan Luthria who made the hit film Once Upon a time in Mumbai.
Dirty Picture is a film on the life and times of the glamour girl of the 1980’s Silk Smitha.
Vidya Balan will play Silk in the film. Naseeruddin Shah will play Rajinikanth who had acted in a film in the 80’s with Silk Smitha.
Naseeruddin Shah is quoted in a newspaper interview as saying- “Yes my character is modelled on Rajinikanth. I will be wearing flamboyant costume and wigs.”
Naseer is planning to get into the skin of the character by watching old Rajinikanth movies on the DVD.
