Pasanga sweeps Tamil Awards

There are three awards for Tamil film and its artist in the list of the 57th National Film Awards, announced in New Delhi today (September 15) evening.

Child artists R.Sriram and Kishore who played Jeeva and Anba Karasu have won the Best Child Artists for Pandiraj directed Pasanga produced by M Sasikumar and his Company Productions. They get the Rajat Kamal and Rs 50,000.

Pandiraj has won the National Award in the Best Screenplay- Dialogues category for the children film he directed Pasanga, produced by M Sasikumar and his Company Productions.

Pasanga and its producer M Sasikumar and his Company Productions have also won the Best Tamil Film award and will also receive Rajat Kamal and Rs 1,00, 000/-

Ilayaraja has won the Best Music Director for Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja, which was also dubbed into Tamil in the Background Score category and will receive Rajat Kamal and Rs 50, 000.
