Contrary to reports appeared in a section of the media that ‘Poraali’, the forthcoming venture of Sasikumar-Samuthirakani, would be shelved due to differences cropped up between the duo thanks to ‘Easan’, they have said the project is very much on.
“We completed ‘Naadodigal’ in 96 days. No we are planning to complete ‘Poraali’ in 80 days,” says Samuthirakani, the director of the film which would have Sasikumar in the lead role.
He says: “The film will be set in the backdrop of Chennai. It is about a youngster who is forced to face some problems in life. Quite like ‘Subramaniapuram’ and ‘Naadodigal’, the movie will be loaded with humour, action and sentiments.”
On his part, Sasikumar, who is also the producer of the film, says, “It is a script which we have been planning to do for more than two years now. I could not let the script go. ‘Poraali’ will get ready soon.”
