‘Marykkundoru Kunjadu’ that was directed by Shafi, and that had Dileep playing the lead role was a runaway hit.
The film would now be remade in Hindi, by the master of remakes himself, Priyadarshan.
Its learned that Priyan has titled the film as ‘Malamal Weekly – 2’. It has also been reported that Ranbeer Kapoor and Suneil Shetty are being considered to play the roles that Dileep and Biju Menon played in the original film.
The shoot of the film would start by February 2012.
