The pooja of director Pradeep Nair’s Cherukkanum Pennum will be held at Kochi’s Anchumana temple on Feb 2.
The shooting of the film, starring Rathinirvedam fame Sreejith Vijay, will start in the second half of this month.
Deepthi Nambiar, who was last seen in the Tamil blockbuster Engeyum Eppothum, is the heroine.
The film talks about a new age love story and is essentially about romance, lust and revenge.
The producers are Sreekuttan VV, Simon Nellissery and Lenin TG. The screenplay has been written by Pradeep Nair and Rajesh Varma.
M Manoj is the cinematographer and the music is by Arun Siddharth.
Pradeep Nair’s debut movie, Oridam, had won awards in the National and State level.
