Director SS Rajamouli, who has debuted into Kollywood with his graphical extravaganza Naan Ee [Eega] has beaten his yesteryear released Maaveeran [Magadheera] records.
Rajamouli has registered a super-duper hit with his first bilingual Naan Ee in Kollywood. The film has grossed around Rs18.22cr during first 3 weeks of its release and in the fourth week that starts from today, it has increased the numbers of theaters list and is being screened in 185 screens.
SS Rajamouli’s Naan Ee has flattened his own records in Tamil Nadu. Till date Rajamouli directed Maaveeran [Magadheera dubbed version] has set the records of highest grosser of Tamil dubbed Telugu films, but Naan Ee is suppressed the records of Maaveeran though the former is a direct release. Besides this Rajamouli has become a brand in K-town, as his earlier released Tollywood blockbuster Chatrapathi is being dubbed as Chandramouli with his posters
