It has been a hectic week for the multilingual Ramya who is all set to fly to South Africa to fulfill her duties as the brand ambassador of Bangalure Royals.
On Sunday she was busy with the AKKA world Kannada conference at New Jersey. Ramya was the star attraction along with Puneet Raj Kumar. Rebel Star Ambareesh was felicitated during the function. Ramya flew to USA from Bangalore on the first of September and was part of the inaugural function held on Friday. After the conference, Ramya will leave for South Africa to cheer the Indian Cricket team which is participating in the Champion’s league.
Meanwhile, September will also see the release of two of Ramya’s projects which were long delayed. The release of her film Jothegaara was stalled many a time and now the producers have decided to release the film on September 10 after adding one more song which was filmed recently in Rockline Studios.
This newly added song is picturised on Prem and Jennifer who is making a special appearance. Ramya`s Kichcha Huchcha will also be released later in September. Ramya is paired with Sudeep in this movie, with whom she had a big tiff during the last lap of the shooting of Just Maath Maathnalli. She says that she enjoyed working in these films particularly in Kichcha Huchcha where her role has a strong focus.
Ramya will have two more releases in the month of October. Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids which has been shelved for a fairly long time may hit the screens in the month of October along with her much expected film Sanju Weds Geetha directed by Nagashekhar. Upendra is paired with Ramya in Bhoomis Bang Bang Kids, while Kitty is her hero in Sanju Weds Geetha.
Even the current film Dandam Dashagunam may be released in early November. Incidentally Ramya’s Tamil film Kaadal to Kalyanam directed by debutant director Milind Rao, who was an assistant to director Mani Ratnam, will also be released in the next two months.
Ramya is very happy that the film’s first promo released on You Tube is receiving a huge response. Ramya who is known as Divya Spandana in the Tamil film industry has also completed her work in another Tamil film Singam Puli where she is teamed up with Jiththan Ramesh.
“I know I was part of some controversies. But I should tell you that I have an open mind and want to move forward. I don’t carry any ill-will towards anyone. I am an optimist and wants to have a positive mindset,” says Ramya.
