Sameera Reddy, who debuted as heroine in Tamil with Gautham Menon’s ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’, went on to star in films like ‘Nadunisi Naaygal’ by the same director and in ‘Asal’ opposite Ajith. She is one of the few actresses who have handful of projects in all the three languages i.e. in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
An excited Sameera Reddy has this to say: “It has been my long-standing dream to own a house in Mumbai. I have purchased some lands in Juhu where the construction is going on at present. Both my father and brother are supervision the construction work. The house’s interior and exterior designing is being done as per my ambition. In all likelihood, we might have a Grihapravesam in the month of November, if things to according to plan.
“I now have a couple of films in Tamil in ‘Vettai’ and ‘Vedi’. I had a good time starring along side Amala Paul in ‘Vettai’ which has Madhavan and Aarya as our co-stars. The film is directed by Lingusamy. In ‘Vedi’, which is directed by Prabhu Deva, I’m paired opposite Vishal. Gautham Menon is my mentor and is responsible for my popularity in Tamil Nadu. As such, I’d make himself available whenever he calls me to star in his film!” concludes Sameera Reddy.
