SRK in Ramana remake?

Recently we have reported that director A.R. Murugadoss, who is currently busy with Vijay-Kajal starrer Thuppakki, wants to remake his blockbuster Tamil film Ramana in Hindi. At a recent press meet, Murugadoss expressed his interest to remake the film in Hindi with a top Bollywood actor. Meanwhile the latest buzz is that ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has acquired the remake rights of the film. He has also approached Shahrukh Khan to play the lead and the King Khan is impressed with the script.

Ramana, starring Vijaykanth and Simran, is about a college professor who decides to abolish corruption with the help of his ex-students who work in various government offices. The reason behind this powerful decision is told in flashback. The film was later remade in Telugu as Tagore with Chiranjeevi and in Kannada as Vishnu Sena with Vishnuvardhan.
