Popular Kannada actor Sudeep, who is presently acting in S.S. Rajamouli’s Telugu film Eega, was injured on Thursday (December 16) during the shooting of his Kannada film Kempegowda, produced and directed by Sudeep himself.
The actor suffered minor injuries when a cracker exploded during the picturisation of a scene at Thyloor village in Mandya district, Karnataka. The actor was given first aid on the spot, police said.
Sudeep, who shot to national fame with Ram Gopal Varma’s Rann, Phoonk, Phoonk 2 and Rakta Charitra, plays the main villain in Eega (Housefly), which was launched December second week. It stars Nani and Samantha in the lead
