Surya’s looks of a monk in upcoming Tamil movie 7 Aum Arivu has taken the Tamil film industry by storm. After keeping it under wraps for more than a year, the makers of the film have finally given hints about the role, which he is playing in the film, through the first look.
The latest news on his role of a Chinese monk is that it would lasts for only 20 minutes. If sources are to be believed, the actor will be seen in that look in the beginning of the movie. Later, his other avatars of a scientist and circus artist carry the story forward.
Surya had taken a special training in martial arts for his role of a 14th century Buddhist monk in the film. He has also learnt every conceivable circus stunt for his other character in 7 Aum Arivu. The actor can now walk the trapeze, blow fire out of his mouth and juggle with six balls, claims a reliable source.
The movie directed by AR Murugadoss also features Shruti Hassan and Hollywood artist Johnny Tri Nguyen in the leads. The movie is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin on the banner Red Giant Movies.
