Ending all disputes and bans, veteran actor Thilakan is back to mainstream Malayalam Cinema through Renjith’s upcoming Indian Rupee, produced by Prithviraj and Santhosh Sivan.
Thilakan, who plays a main role along with Prithiviraj in this film, was seen extremely happy in the sets when shooting was held at Kozhikode and adjacent places.
“I feel really happy they had invited me to the film. Prajapathi was my last film with Renjith. Santhosh Sivan was the cameraman of my Telugu movie and Prithviraj represents the younger generation of actors,” an elated Thilakan said.
“`I came to know that Renjith was adamant in casting me for the role of Achutha Menon in the movie. So my responsibility is increasing as they are depending on me completely. I would act with full sincerity to make the role and film a success,” Thilakan said.
Achutha Menon is a friend of Prakasan, played by Prithviraj. Thilakan said that to prepare for the character, Renjith asked him not to shave.
