HYDERABAD: A friendly match between the stars is scheduled to take place on March 5 at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA cricket stadium, in Visakhapatnam before the big Celebrity Cricket League in June. This curtain raiser event is going to be a 20-20 cricket match — Bollywood stars vs the stars of South India.
Heading the Bollywood team would be the star of masses, ‘Dabangg’ actor, Salman Khan, along with Sunil Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Harman Baweja, amongst others.
The South team will be lead by Venkatesh, and includes actors like Suriya, Sudeep, Siddharth, Vishnu Manchu, to mention a few. Various promotional events are being taken place at Vizag, and tickets are being sold like hot cake.
The brand ambassadors for Bollywood team are Sonakshi Sinha and Genelia D’souza and for the southern team are — Richa, Shreya, Samantha, amongst others.
Recently there was an auction of tickets for the event, wherein, tickets worth Rs 200 were auctioned and autographed by Seiya Gautam and sold for as much as Rs 2000 and more. Richa, one of the brand ambassadors for the team of south was at I-nox multiplex on Thursday for another promotional event. The stadium can accomodate nearly 30,000 people and is expected to be houseful on Saturday.
