Ilayathalapathy Vijay who had flown down from Pune to Chennai for his birthday (June 22) is back on the sets of Thupakki. The star has been shooting on the Pune- Lonavala location for the last two days.
Thuppakki is written and directed by AR Murugadoss, has Vijay playing a cop and an encounter specialist. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine and others in the supporting cast are Vidyut Jamwal, Jayaram and Sathyan.
The film has music by Harris Jayaraj and camera by Santosh Sivan and is produced by Kalaipuli Thanu.
Thupakki is being shot on a fast pace as the director wants to release the film by August 15. But it is highly unlikely that it will release on that day as three more songs remain to be canned.
