Yes, Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar are playing it safe by making sure that they aren’t colliding with the films of Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan. Agneepath which went on floors two months ago has completed its fifty percent of shoot and Karan is making sure that the film will release this year. Though a particular date isn’t locked K Jo wants to release it in between his best friends’ two releases this year; RA.One on Diwali and Don 2-The Chase begins on the eve of Christmas.
Ironically Hrithik too will have two releases this year. His film with Zoya Akhtar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara will be hitting theatres on July 8th. While K Jo denied that he sold Agneepath rights to a Hollywood studio for a huge ransom he is making sure that the film turns out to be bigger and better than old Agneepath which was his dad’s production.
Another schedule of Agneepath will be taking place in Daman which will make sure that the principal shooting of the film is over. A tentative release would be in early December this year informs the writer of Kal Ho Naa Ho.
So with Salman and Shahrukh having two releases this year, hopefully Hrithik’s films too will have the same enthusiasm surrounding them.
