Anjali plays Venkatesh’s pair in the Telugu film titled Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. This film also features Mahesh Babu and Samantha. Interestingly, Anjali will play Mahesh Babu’s sister-in-law, it has been reported.
Earlier, the role was offered to several leading ladies in Kollywood including Trisha, but they had refused not wanting to play sister-in-law roles. Anjali, however, has said that she agreed to it because her role was very substantial.
Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Dil Raju.
