Vetri Maaran who made the National Award winning film, Aadukalam is all set to try his hand at production. He has launched a production house that has been named Grass Root Film Company. The first film to be produced under this banner will be a Siddharth starrer to be directed by his assosiate Manigandan.
The film has the working title, NH 4 and will be set against the backdrop of the National Highways leading to Bangalore. Vetri has done the scripting as well as dialogues for this film. Velraj is the cinematographer and editing will be by Kishore. Actor Kishore who turned in powerful performances in Vetri’s Polladhavan and Aadukalam will have a pivotal role in this film as well. The heroine will be announced soon. Shooting will commence in the first week of March.
