What is your state of mind after the mega success of Marykkundoru Kunjaadu?
I was sure that Marykkundoru Kunjadu would be a super hit even while I was doing the film. I am happy to be a part of this movie and I really enjoyed the shooting. We all were in a holiday mood and had a great time. I have been getting tremendous feedbacks even weeks after the release. The film is special for me since I play the title role. Do you know that my costumes in the movie have become a talking point among the girls?
Tell us about the Priyadarshan movie?
It is like a dream come true for me. I am a great fan of his movies like Kilukkam.I have acted with Lalettan in Chota Mumbai and Sagar Alias Jacky. This is the third time we are coming together. My character in Arabiyum Ottakavum Pinne Madhavan Nairum(OPMN) is Angelina. I have a new hairstyle in this movie and Priyan Sir complimented that I looked like a Bollywood actress.
Any Bollywood dreams?
If I get good offers, I would definitely give it a try. But If I do one, then definitely it should be a good one.
How do you select movies?
Earlier, I used to give dates to who ever came to me but now I give preference to the story. If I like the script then I will sign it even if it is directed by a debutant. Story and technicians are all the criteria for selecting a movie.
Have you become a serious movie-buff?
Yes. Watching movies is my favourite hobby. I have not come to this field accidentally. I wished to be an actress even from my childhood. I have a good collection of DVD’s and foreign films. On holidays I watch two movies a day.
You are the best friend of most of the heroines. How do you maintain your friendship?
I always try to keep good relation with everyone. I am very friendly and so I make friends very soon. In the beginning I used to be a second fiddle. And I had some very bad experiences from a heroine of those times. I have decided that day that I would never treat anyone badly.
Have you found your ideal man?
Not yet. I don’t have any plans to tie the knot for two years.
