Last week, Chiyaan Vikram took a trip down memory lane. He went back to his school days of the early 1980’s as Victor Kennedy popularly known as Kenny.
Vikram came to Kumarakom in Kerala for the alumni meet of 1983 plus-two batch, Montford School in Yercaud. Normally the meetings are held in Yercaud, but this year, former Kerala Finance Minister and Kerala Congress strongman KM Mani’s son Jose.K. Mani, Kottayam MP hosted it in his constituency.
It was Jose. K. Mani, Vikram’s classmate at Montford and Loyola College in Chennai who organised the meeting in Backwater Ripples Resort, Kumarakam.
Says Jose : “The dress code was traditional Mundu (dhoti) and white shirt. Kenny whose Raavanan is a super hit in Kerala was the cynosure of all eyes. All of us had a blast as we recollected old incidents in school, the best time in one’s life.”
