Dhanush still cannot get over the Aadukalam impact. The actor, who is presently in Karaikudi shooting for the Hari-directed Vengai, says that the Madurai dialect that he mastered for Aadukalam just refuses to leave him. He adds that the impact will continue to stay with him for some more time and rues that this may hinder his performance in Vengai.

However, the actor is making all efforts to shed the Aadukalam impact as Vengai is a completely different genre. Dhanush is now said to be working hard to get back to the normal accent that is required for Vengai.
