Karthi’s uniqueness in his strategy pulls him up grandiloquently for Paradisiacal Glory. The actor had kept himself away from K-town for a very long time and started off his career working as assistant director to Maniratnam. His gateway to stardom was quite bigger than he expected as ‘Paruthiveeran’ was a blockbuster reaching him towards the nook and corners of the globe. He strode with a bold attempt of choosing to act in an experimental project like ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ that broke the barriers of how cliched protagonists.
Karthi was born on May 25, 1977 to film actor Sivakumar and his wife Lakshmi. Kollywood Handsome Hunk Surya is his elder brother. Karthi has done his graduation from New York State University in Industrial Engineering, later he started his career as a consultant in an engineering firm in Chennai. He got greatly inspired by his father and his brother Suriya, Karthi stepped into film industry as assistant to Mani Ratnam in Ayudha Ezhuthu and also for its Hindi version Yuva.
Karthi has seen success right from his debut film Paruthiveeran and there haven’t been any U-turns for him as he was showered with more projects after seeing his performance. The year 2010 has been a blessed year for Karthi, as he had back to back releases within a time frame of three months. His film Aayirathil Oruvan directed by Selvaraghavan turned out to be a hit. It was followed by Lingusamy directed Paiyaa and Naan Mahaan Alla and both these films were super hit at the box office.
Karthi is blessed with a tangible charm widespread in his smile and expressions. His explosive performance in each and every film has made as a top young actor of Kollywood.
We wishes Karthi the fastest rising star in Kollywood, heartiest birthday wishes and a successful future ahead.
Just wanted to wish a little sunshine back into the heart of someone who gives it away all year long… Happy Birthday!
