Leading music director Harris Jayaraj was felicitated on Sunday (Dec 26) evening by Laya Media, for his achievements as a music director.
Directors like Shankar, Gautham Menon and AR Murgadoss who had churned out many hits with him were present on the occasion.
Gautham said at the function: “He has given me 30 songs, and I admire his acumen in slotting the songs according to the situation.”
Added Shankar: “He is one of the few music directors who dared to experiment within the format. He is hard working at the same time choosy.”
All leading singers like Harish Raghavendra, Mahati, Saindavi, Naresh Iyer and Krish sang their hit numbers with composer.
Suriya and his brother made an appearance at the event. Finally Harris dedicated his achievements to his parents.
