Director Kasthuriraja’s next venture is “Idu Kadal Varum Paruvam”. He not only directs the film, but also scores music for the first time.
Teenager Harish Kumar and Lakshmipriya from Telugu cinema are making their debut as the lead pair in this film. Kiran is given a powerful role as a very glamorous model.
Though the film is about teenage love, in fact, it carries a strong message to parents. Romance is only a veneer, according to Kasthuriraja.
“Idu Kadal…” features nine songs all composed by Kasthuriraja. As for his making a debut as a music director, he is quoted as saying in an interview that Ilayaraja has scored the music for most of his films and so he has been largely influenced by the maestro.
“Right from my first film, I have always given priority to music. I am into poetry and I write lyrics for the songs in my movies,” Kasthuriraja said.
