Karthi is a big hit with the student community of Tamil Nadu. This was proved once again on Wednesday, when the actor inaugurated the cultural event ‘Techofest’ of the College of Engineering Gundy.
The name of the actor echoed all over the Open Air Theatre at Anna University grounds, as students tried their best to catch his attention. And a group of girls held a placard with ‘KARTHI’ written in bold.
Speaking on the occasion, Karthi, an engineer turned actor, urged students to remember both the teaching and non-teaching staff. “Enjoy every moment of this event. You will not get this back in your life,” he said.
The actor, who asked students to pursue their dream, whatever profession it might be, also asked them to pledge to protect the green cover. “Only then we can live a healthy, happy life,” he said. He also delivered a dialogue from his latest movie ‘Siruthai’.
