Karunaas today filed a complaint with Chennai city police alleging that he has been receiving threats from Naam Thamizhar organisation against his proposed trip to Kandy Kadirgamar Temple in Sri Lanka.
Speaking to reporters at the Commissioner office complex, Karunaas said, “I am getting SMS and calls from people allegedly owing allegiance to Naam Thamizar organisation threatening me not to go there.”
Karunaas said he was supposed to go to Kandy to fulfill a religious vow. “I requested the police officials to take appropriate action”, he added.
