Music director Johnson is no more. He passed away today evening at Chennai, following a heart attack.
Johnson had made his debut in Malayalam films in the late seventies. he associated with several Bharathan films, and was soon one of the busiest music directors in Malayalam.
Johnson had also composed the music for several Sathyan Anthikkad films. On the whole, he had composed the musical as well as background score for more than 300 films.
He has also received two National Awards for Background Score, and three State Awards for Best Music.
