Pawan Kalyan is set to remake, Salman Khan’s massive hit, Dabangg. He announced that the movie would be made in Telugu with the title, Gabbar Singh.
The movie will be produced in his own banner Pawan Kalyan Creative Works.
Harish Shankar, of Mirapakai fame, directs this movie.
“I am producing this film on my own. Harish approached me long back and he also narrated the script of Mirapakai to me but our combination could not happen due to several reasons. I am happy that we are working together in the remake of Dabangg which I liked immensely,” Pawan Kalyan said in a press statement.
He also said that the movie will begin its shoot shortly and would be released this year.
