Ra one expectations were flying high. As people started comparing with the Superstar Rajinikanth’s “Robot”.King Khan didn’t allow the expectations to come down about Ra one. Shahrukh Khan’s hard work had made the film come out really well.Film buffs can’t ask for a better Diwali treat than this.
Shah Rukh Khan as Shekhar Subramanian does all he could to fit into the world of his son ( Prateek) but just couldn’t. Prateek finally gives up his effort to make his dad cool. At this gloomy juncture, Shahrukh khan succeeds in designing a superb game and good time returns to the family.
Surprisingly, their lives take a ‘U’ turn following hard drive crash. They are supposed to play the game but the game starts playing with them. The rest of the film is whether Shekhar and his son get out of the mess and whether Shahrukh Khan solves the problem.
Shah Rukh Khan plays the character G.One and not the title role Ra.One. He is wonderful as always. He fits into the role superbly. His energetic performance is commendable and the scenes like the train-chasing sequence and the climax are jaw-dropping. His chemistry with his son Prateek in the film is wonderful. His popularity among the children will surely increase by manifold after the release of the film.
Female lead actress Kareena Kapoor has given yet another splendid performance. She played the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Sonia Subramanian in the film, and she fits the role to the ‘T’. Her performance in the song “Chamakchallo” is simply stunning.
Arjun Rampal, who plays the title character of ‘Ra.One’, has raised the bar for villains. He has given a solid performance. He looks stylish and has done his role with ease. Child artiste Armaan Verma, who plays Shah Rukh’s Prateek Subramanian, deserves special mention. He plays a crucial role in the film and he has given a splendid performance.
Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra have added spice to the film and the presence of Superstar Rajinikanth will make his fans go crazy.
Director Anubhav Sinha deserves all the accolades for making such a good film. He brought the best in Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and child artiste Armaan Verma. He did everything right from direction to screenplay to action sequences. Music by Vishal-Shekhar is also cool with songs like ‘Chamakchallo’, ‘Dildara’ and ‘Raftarein’ going down well with the music lovers.
“Ra.One” is an excellent superhero film; a complete entertainer. It will entertain both the young and old alike. Don’t miss this Diwali treat from King Khan!
Verdict: 4/ 5

Amir movie Ghajini is frame by frame copy of south Ghajini, it simple means it doesn’t have any innovative idea or no inputs from Amir as well. And No one is criticizing this big fact. You can watch both movies on you tube. Movie became hits & breaks records. Same happened for Salman movies.
This is similar situation when DON was released most of critics & peoples had putting bad reviews on net but because of SRK fans that movie did a good at box office & now everybody (including critics) likes SRK work in DON.
YEPME Fashion Review
In Ra.One, a nerdy Shekar Subramanium (Shah Rukh Khan) works for a gaming company in London. Though his hot wife Sonia (Kareena Kapoor) doesn’t seem to mind his unhip get-up, his son Pratik (Armaan Varma) is less forgiving. He finds his father geeky and admires what he thinks is the ultra cool villain. To win the admiration of his son, Shekhar creates a game in which the villain Ra.One (Arjun Rampal) is invincible. Partik, a gaming enthusiast, defeats Ra.One at some level which annoys the villain. Ra.One finds a way to get out of the game into the real world to hunt and destroy his adversary. The only one who can control the powerful Ra.One is G.One, the good guy form the game. G.One takes on the appearance of Shekhar to combat Ra.One. Overall Ra.One is racy though it has its lagging moments. The movie starts off slow but then the second half gets more interesting. Scenes like the car chase and the reconstruction of Ra.One are cinematic delights. The novelty factor and visual effects are impressive. Though the movie is more accessible to people who are familiar with the gaming lingo.
According to us at YEPME, Ra.One has a limited wardrobe on the fashion front. As, of course, the good and bad guys are sporting the superhero look. Body-hugging black skin suits with dashes of red or blue and capes dominate the screen. Arjun Rampal as Ra.One has a menacing presence. And out of the suit we see him mostly in jeans and a trench coat. Shah Rukh as the nerdy Shekar sticks to khakis and sweaters in neutral tones. He also sports a few jackets in subdued tones. Though in the “Chammak Challu” dance number Shah Rukh sports a dashing tuxedo. But the scene stealer of the song is Kareena in her flaming red attire. In the rest of the movie, this yummy-mummy prefers trendy casuals.
