NEW DELHI: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was discharged from a hospital in Singapore today. Rajinikanth was flown to Singapore from Chennai for treatment and was admitted to intensive care unit of the city-state’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital on May 29. Rajinikanth will stay in Singapore till his check-ups are completed.
His son-in-law Dhanush tweeted saying the superstar has completely recovered and will be taking rest in the coming days. Dhanush, who won the national award for Aadukalam, also mentioned in his tweet that he will now celebrate the award since Rajinikanth has recovered.
Rajnikanth had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his latest venture ‘Raana’, and was admitted to the Isabel Hospital in Chennai. He was discharged the same day only to be readmitted there on May 4 for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.
On May 13, he was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre for respiratory infection and other problems.
