Oscar Award winning sound designer Resul Pookutty is all set to go beyond his audio adventures.
The multiple international awards winning technician will turn a director by directing an emotional father-son story starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Pookutty says he has been thinking of this for a long time and when he wrote the story he had only Amitabh in mind. Though the project has been thought, Pookutty says, It’s really too early to talk more about it now as the film will go on floors only next year.
Resul Pookutty has just finished his second international project ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ directed by John Madden whose film ‘Shakespeare In Love’ is an all time favourite of many. Pookutty has done live sound mixing for this film only the second time after his award winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
