After the release of Tournament, actor-director-producer Lal is going to do the lead role in Ashique Abu’s (of Daddy Cool fame) new movie titled Salt and Pepper. Lal has been flooded with offers after his ‘comic goonda’ role in Best Actor.In the film, Abu is trying to experiment with a new combination – he has paired Swetha Menon with Lal.Asif Ali and Maithili also play important roles in Salt and Pepper.The buzz is that the interesting story line by new writers impressed Lal so much that he signed up as the hero of Salt and Pepper.
