Following the huge success of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, Simbu didn’t have any release for nearly more than a year. With still the official release date of his upcoming film ‘Vaanam’ yet to be confirmed, Simbu has started working on his next film ‘Vettai Mannan’. The film will mark the debut of Silambarasan in Bollywood as it is simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Since it’s a trilingual project, the makers and actor are keen on signing three actresses each from these respective film industries.
Well, it seems that the actor is keen on signing Sonam Kapoor for one of the female lead roles. It is noteworthy that the producers of ‘Dabangg’ remake are also looking out to sign Sonam Kapoor.
‘Vettai Mannan’ is produced by SS Chakravarthy of Nic Arts and is produced by debutant Nelson with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring music.
