After the brief schedules in Moscow, Russia, Maatran is now being shot in Chennai. Matraan is touted as an action thriller taking shape in the hands of director KV Anand. The makers are wrapping up the schedules of the film as per planned time and the film is expected to hit the big-screens in early April, 2012.
Suriya is pairing up with the pretty actress Kajal Agarwal in the film. This is the first time Suriya is romancing Kajal for a film. Maatran is being made lavishly with a whopping budget by the AGS Entertainment Production house. Harris Jayraj is zeroed in by the makers for the musical scores for the film.
