Lady Luck seems to smiling on Vijay these days. He is currently working with maverick director Shankar, who is directing him in Nanban and has bagged an offer to star in a flick that Gautham Menon is to direct.
However, this project will go on floors only in March 2012, as Gautham is already committed to direct Jiiva this year. In the mean time, Vijay will complete Nanban. With Gautham Menon having so much to concentrate in, his planned Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya Part 2 may be put in the backburner for now.
The grapevine also has it that Vijay will work on a film with AR Murugadoss soon after completing Shankar’s Nanban. Vijay’s dad and director SA Chandrasekar will produce the AR Murugadoss venture.
