Actor Ashish Chowdhry’s role in Double Dhamaal not just required him to slip into the garb of a woman, but also that of a gorilla.
He says the costume, which was originally used in Hollywood film Planet of the Apes, stank a lot!
‘On the plus side, I got a chance to slip into a Planet of the Apes costume. On the downside, it stank to high heaven,’ said Ashish.
The actor was quite disgusted with the smell from the costume.
‘It (the costume) can’t be dry-cleaned. I don’t know how many others got into it and sweated buckets inside it,’ he quipped.
Directed by Indra Kumar, the laugh riot will release June 24.
