‘Endhiran’ has surprised the trade by raking in around 120 crores from its first week Box Office collections. The movie has already beaten the collection of Hindi flick ‘Dabangg’, which held the Indian collection, record for first two weeks at Rs 82 crore.
‘Endhiran’ has made around Rs 60 crore in Tamil Nadu, while in Andhra Pradesh ‘Endhiran’ has raked in Rs 30 crores. Karnataka and Kerala have given another Rs 8 crore and Rs 4 crores respectively, while the Hindi version of the movie has collected Rs 15 crore.
According to unconfirmed sources, the movie’s collections will get it at least to a place in the first four big collected pictures in the gone weekend, around the world. Being shown in 2100 screens around the globe, the movie has surpassed the collections of ‘Resident Evil: After life’, ‘Detective Dee’ and ‘Eat Pray Love’, which were also released around the world, last weekend.
The movie is also amassing the best collections from its screens at UK, US and Malaysia where it is released in a number of centers.
