Jackie grosses Rs. 10 crores in the first week

Puneet Raj Kumar-Bhavana starrer Jackie has grossed Rs. 10 crores in its first week. This was disclosed in a success meet of the film by Raghavendra Raj Kumar, the production-in-charge of the film.
“This is perhaps the biggest collections we have seen in all the films made under our banner. Even in the second week the collections have been hugely encouraging. We are sure all the distributors who have paid a huge amount for obtaining the rights of the film would be happy by the end of the fourth or fifth week,” says Raghavendra Raj Kumar.

Jackie would also be released in nine countries in over fifty screens. The exact date of release of the film abroad has not been listed yet, but Bevin Exports India Private Limited has taken over the distribution rights, disclosed Raghavendra Raj Kumar in the press conference. The film’s release has been planned in USA, UK, Dubai, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore and Malaysia besides one more country which would be decided later.

Bevin Exports had earlier released Puneet’s films Abhi, Akash, Appu and also Ganesh`s Malayali Jotheyali. Puneet Raj Kumar, director Soori, Rangayana Raghu, Sampath, Ravi Kale, Yogaraj Bhat and Sathya Hegde were present at the press conference.
