Rajnikanth’s next film ‘Hara’

Following the grand success of ‘Endhiran’, Superstar Rajnikanth is on cloud nine with incredible laurels. Meanwhile, the expectations about the actor’s next film have become the topic of the day for media channels and his fans. Earlier, it was mentioned that Rajnikanth would either work on a sequel to ‘Baasha’ or ‘Chandramukhi’, which is an unconfirmed buzz till date.

The latest buzz is that the superstar will resume shooting of ‘Sultan-The Warrior’, which has been renamed as ‘Hara’ now. This will be the first 3-D animation Indian film with a big budget in various languages. Rajnikanth’s youngest daughter Soundarya started off shooting the film couple of years back, which was shelved halfway due to her father’s busy schedules with ‘Endhiran’.

Recently interesting news revealed that the last 30 mins of the film will be in live-action format and K.S. Ravikumar has been signed to direct those sequences. Now it looks like the project will be resumed shortly as the plans are to release the film by April-May 2011.

‘Hara’ was first produced by Soundarya Rajnikanth’s home banner Orcher Studios in collaboration with ADLABS. Off late, ADLABS walked out of the project due to some reasons. Vijayalakshmi of ‘Chennai 600028’ has starred opposite Rajnikanth as the female lead and A.R. Rahman has scored the music for the film.
