Ramesh Sippy plans to direct again

Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, who donned the director’s hat 16 years ago for “Zamana Deewana”, is planning to go behind the camera soon.

“Now I think it’s important that I take a step in that direction again and I’ll try that something like this happens. We are working on a script; when it completes, I’ll announce the film formally. So direction will happen soon,” said Sippy, director of cult classic “Sholay”.

He also helmed films like “Saagar”, “Shakti”, “Shaan”, “Seeta Aur Geeta” and “Andaz” among others.

So young filmmakers are supposed to get some competition from the best.
