Yes, you read it right; Rani Mukherjee for the first time in her career will be doing an item number and that too for good friend Sajid Khan’s film Housefull 2, a sequel to Housefull.
This comes after the two item songs Munni and Sheila which rocked the nation last year. So it seems Rani is keen on doing an item number to carve a niche for herself.
Rani is known to be a very good dancer and add to it she is a trained Odissi dancer. One can easily see how comfortable she is with jhatkas and matkas. As of now nothing has been confirmed but our sources hint us that Rani will be doing an item number in Housefull 2.
Rani in a recent interview candidly admitted that she is open to item numbers provided they excite her. She also added that item numbers are fun to shoot as they have a lot of energy attached to it.
Wonder who would be choreographing the song, will it be Sajid’s sister Farah who did Munni and Sheila or Vaibhavi who is a dear friend of Rani. So Rani of acting will be Rani of item numbers in near future. Fingers crossed!
