Sharmila Mandre sans glamour in Kari Chirathe

Known for her glamorous and stylish avatars on screen, Sharmila Mandre is undergoing a complete makeover for her latest Kannada movie Kari Chirathe. This talented actress will be seen in a deglamourised role with no make up and simple attire as a slum dweller, wife of the hero (Vijay). Director K. Madhesha, who had his apprehensions before casting Sharmila, was impressed by her confidence and willingness to do something different. Sharmila had to undergo intensive training to learn and understand the body language of slum dwellers. Post Kari Chirate, Sharmila will take a short break from Kannada films. She is all set to enter Tamil movies with a big launch. We wish her all the best in all her endeavours.
