We are made for each other: Prakash Raj

Multilingual actor and producer-director Prakash Raj is elated with his new life partner Pony Verma whom he married on August 24 at Mumbai.
Prakash continues to be busy even after his marriage. He came to Bengaluru on Sunday evening for the celebration of the 125 days run of his first directorial venture Naanu Nanna Kanasu and early the next day he was off to Hosur to complete the pending portions for the Mahesh Babu-Anushka starrer Telugu film Mahesh Khaleeja which is all set to be released shortly.

The media got a chance time to spend with the couple who were happiness personified. “She is the best thing that has happened to me in recent days. She has given me a new energy. I am very enthusiastic now and I want to achieve some new things in life. She has made me understand life in a better perspective. She is already a good friend to my children and my family members,” said Prakash Raj.

Pony is equally appreciative of her husband. “Every one in the industry knows that he is exceptionally talented. But I have found him to be the most concerned when it comes to humanitarian issues. He is always bothered about his co-workers who have worked with him for any film. I have found many instances when he had forced directors to give lunch breaks on time as he did not want to stress out the crew,” says Pony Verma.

“I was a little worried before the marriage whether he would be accepted by my traditional family. But Prakash was able to win the hearts of each member of the family. Now, all of them are extremely fond of him. I think Prakash is an expert in behavioural science. I think I have chosen the best person in my life,” says Pony Verma.

Pony Verma says that Kancheevaram is the best film of her husband and she has seen the film more than ten times. “Prakash has many admirers in Mumbai. When I went to invite Salman and his family for my wedding, his father Salim sir came to me and told me that he had immensely liked Prakash Raj’s performance in many films including Wanted. He wanted Prakash to act in more Hindi films,” said Pony Verma.
